For coding applications, for instance, the Test Lab conducts numerous assessments to confirm that the marking solution fully fulfils expectations. Whether applying ink-jet or utilising laser technology, our specialists ensure that inks bond impeccably to the surface without smudging or leaking into the product, and that the laser markers engrave packaging or products precisely, producing a legible, permanent code that leaves the material’s characteristics intact. Such evaluations are especially critical when substrates are challenging to code, including the increasingly popular eco-friendly or biodegradable packaging.
